Sometimes in your life, you need a change, a new window where your dreams become reality. Then, suddenly, this window is appearing to you ! When I saw mine, I seized the opportunity and moved here.

Touching down in Dominica, I knew this was going to be my ultimate challenge! And what a wonderful challenge it has been!

I felt immediately at home on the Nature Island and integrated easily! 21 years now and I am hoping for 21 more!

I was born in France and am a Dominican Citizen. I speak fluent French, English and Spanish. My professional background is commercial. From 1966 to 1978, I was the owner of three recordshops, winning awards for operating the best recordshops in France. Looking for a new challenge, I got employed by Canon France Copiers in 1985 and stayed with them until 1991, winning the Wonder Woman award.

When I moved to Dominica in 1995, I encouraged The Dominican National Development Corporation to promote this beautiful island at the main trade shows in France and I was envolved in doing that for several years. I then became the Vice President of the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association, representing Dominica at trade shows on the neighbouring islands. At the same time, I had the pleasure to manage the historical property of POINTE-BAPTISTE for 4 years and also opened a little restaurant in CALIBISHIE called "La Guinguette de Calibishie".

At present, I was given the responsibility of treasurer for the local Community Tourism Association NNETEDC, which showcases all what the North and North-East of Dominica has to offer to the visitors. With my group CTDC, I also opened a TOURISM CENTER in CALIBISHIE and we will celebrate our 10th anniversary in June 2017.

Having received requests from several visitors, I decided in 2002 to open a Real Estate office in Calibishie. Now, in 2016, my office is located in PORTSMOUTH, inside the Indian river facility center.

For the future, I have plans for Toucarie and its potential in Tourism.
